Accounting Lead- Accounts Receivable (AR)

Overview

This role involves serving as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant within a senior living organization, working closely with the finance and accounting team including the CFO, controller, financial analyst, and accounts payable. The position requires a combination of accounting expertise and customer service skills to support communities nationwide, ensuring adherence to protocols and addressing inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer deposits including coding, entering into CRM, auditing, and journal entries
• Manage AR reporting and coordinate collections with community locations
• Support and manage the CRM system (Vitals)
• Prepare various reports such as payments without deposit, rent roll, rent rate and market rate increases, and move-outs
• Handle bonus payments for certain associates

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting, process improvement, reporting, or standards development
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• This position is based in Wichita, KS and is not open to remote work or relocation
