Overview
A certified partner of Accounting Seed is expanding Salesforce consulting services into the financial and ERP space and is seeking an experienced Accounting Seed Implementation Consultant/Specialist. This part-time role (approximately 15 hours per week) involves serving as the internal champion, technical reference, and project leader for all Accounting Seed implementations.
This opportunity is ideal for an independent consultant, freelance accountant, or Salesforce professional looking for a steady, high-impact side project.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary subject matter expert and reference for all Accounting Seed projects.
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand their business models, chart of accounts, accounting lifecycles, and reporting requirements.
- Guide the technical team on best practices for integrating CRM data (Sales, Service Clouds) with financial data.
- Manage end-to-end configuration of Accounting Seed modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Reporting, and Billing.
- Oversee and execute complex data migrations from legacy systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite into Accounting Seed.
- Design and implement custom workflows, banking integrations, automated tax rules, and multi-currency/multi-entity ledgers.
- Develop custom financial dashboards, balance sheets, and Profit & Loss statements using Salesforce native reporting tools.
- Provide training sessions to client accounting teams to facilitate smooth user adoption.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience implementing, migrating, and configuring Accounting Seed within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of core accounting concepts including debits/credits, GAAP/IFRS compliance, billing, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce standard objects, page layouts, automation tools (such as Flows), and user permissions.
- Intermediate English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation, understand client requirements, write clear configuration guides, and participate in verbal alignment meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting Seed Core or ERP certifications.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
