Accounts Payable Processor
Overview
This role supports the Accounts Payable department by processing a high volume of invoices, researching and resolving payment and reconciliation issues, and providing customer service to internal and external customers.
- FTE: 1.0 (80 hours per two-week pay period)
- Shift: Day (8 hour shift)
- Hours per week: 40
- Weekend rotation: None
- Union contract: Non-Union-NCT
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
- Research and resolve issues, including statement reconciliation.
- Investigate invoice payment status and fully resolve moderately complex issues.
- Receive, audit, and prepare invoices, then enter them into the system.
- Work under minimal supervision and help guide the work of the Account Payable Processors Associate.
- Ensure system obligations are paid accurately and timely in accordance with company and regulatory policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the accounts payable field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Vocational degree in a related field.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work.
- Lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally; negligible weight frequently.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $22.04 to $30.01 per hour
Starting rate depends on factors including experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend, and/or other differentials may be available to increase pay for certain shifts.
