Overview
An organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments accurately, efficiently, and timely. This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining positive vendor relationships, and preparing financial records related to budgets and expenses.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the accounts payable (AP) inbox, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with vendors to request invoice adjustments, tax removals, and maintain professional correspondence.
- Record invoices in financial systems.
- Verify financial data to maintain accounts payable records.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Process payments to vendors.
- Assist in accurate and timely recording and processing of invoices and payroll reports.
- Prepare vendor reconciliations and identify any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the AP Team Lead based on Finance department priorities.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as a Finance professional, Accountant, or Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Finance background is a plus.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact with a global team and adapt information effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to structure workdays and tasks while managing time-zone differences.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems and seek assistance when needed.
- High attention to detail to maintain accuracy in financial data.
- Strong organizational skills to manage various financial documents including spreadsheets, contracts, and projections.

- Familiarity with AI-driven tools or platforms is advantageous.
