Overview

This full-time Accounts Payable Specialist role is associate level and supports premium travel operations, including cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination. The position is accounts-focused and payable-focused, with an emphasis on accurate financial records, reconciliation, and exception handling.

Work is expected to be traceable and audit-ready—showing what source was used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for accounts-focused, payable-focused, specialized-execution work across premium travel, cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination.
  • Protect confidential account information and ensure documentation remains traceable.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records and keep the work traceable and current.
  • Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing to prevent errors and ensure accurate records.
  • Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure each exception has an owner for next steps.

Success Standard

Success means financial records remain accurate and usable under the demands of premium travel, cruises, milestone trips, event planning, traveler support, and supplier coordination. Repeated errors should become visible, exceptions should have owners, and an authorized teammate should be able to verify the state of the work without reconstructing the history.

What Helps You Succeed

  • Confident use of financial records in support of invoice review, financial reporting, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Spreadsheet analysis while maintaining evidence, owners, and deadlines.
  • Clear documentation of audit support decisions so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
  • Sound judgment around approval tracking, especially when escalation is required rather than assumption.
