Accounts Receivable Representative

Overview

This role is responsible for managing collections and supporting service and parts customers as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative. The position serves as a key point of contact for resolving outstanding receivables while maintaining a strong customer experience.

Location: Remote (prior remote work experience required)

Target Hiring Range: $20.00–22.00hr

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a high-volume AR portfolio across a large customer base
• Communicate with customers through 100+ emails per day and a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily
• Drive payment collection while maintaining a strong customer experience
• Handle inbound AR-related calls and billing inquiries with professionalism and urgency
• Analyze customer communications and proactively address key issues to reduce repeat contact and back-and-forth
• Research and resolve service and parts billing discrepancies
• Interpret and communicate third-party data exchanges clearly and effectively to customers
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and system updates (including Excel-based tracking)
• Partner with internal teams and utilize tools such as SharePoint to manage documentation and workflows
• Respond to both internal and external inquiries within established service-level timelines

Requirements

• 1+ years of Accounts Receivable, collections, customer service, or related accounting experience
• At least 1 year of experience working in a fully remote environment
• Experience in a high-volume communication environment (verbal & written)
• Ability to quickly identify key information and drive efficient resolution
• Working knowledge of Excel, SharePoint and AR Platforms
• Ability to manage time and prioritize daily items and aging tasks
• High School graduate or equivalent; 18 years or older required
• Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace

Compensation & Benefits

• Target Hiring Range: $20.00–22.00hr
• Full compensation range for this position: $16.85–24.05
• Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
