Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote)
This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $20 to $26 per hour, along with premium medical, dental, and vision coverage options. Some plans include 100% premium coverage for employees and their families. The position includes a monthly performance bonus tied to individual impact and the flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day collections process by reaching out to clients via email and phone
- Send monthly statements and reconcile billing issues with internal teams
- Serve as a reliable, relationship-focused point of contact for outstanding accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Billing and Account Management teams to ensure smooth operations
- Deliver hospitality-focused service in client interactions
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of accounts receivable and collections experience with a hospitality mindset
- Comfortable making phone calls throughout the day to build client relationships while managing collections
- Strong proficiency in Excel is required
- Experience with Looker, Zendesk, or HubSpot is a plus
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Proficient with remote collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
- Critical thinker capable of finding creative solutions to daily challenges
- Detail-oriented and able to efficiently manage complex processes without losing organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a small, collaborative finance team
- Exposure to cross-functional work with Billing and Account Management
- Interest in growth opportunities within a fast-scaling organization
