Accounts Receivable Team Member

Overview

A Virginia-based service facilitation provider is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Member to join their remote team. This position requires residency in Virginia and focuses on claims processing and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve assessments and associated documentation for payout and billing
• Review claims information for accuracy
• Enter remittance data
• Submit appeals and corrections for claims issues
• Manage claims to ensure timely payout

Requirements

• Relevant work experience or documented combination of skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, Adobe PDF editor, data entry, keyboarding, and data processing
• Experience with claims submission, processing, appeals, and authorization submissions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Problem-solving, time-management, communication, and adaptability skills
• Private home workspace with computer and stable, secure internet connection
• Understanding of information security and HIPAA compliance
• Ability to work normal business hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
• Must submit to a criminal background check
• Provide two references

• No degree required; experience is prioritized
