Billing Representative

Overview

This full-time, day-shift position is remote and part of the Revenue Cycle Management department. The role involves processing and managing Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Medicare/Medicaid payers, ensuring compliance with payer-specific guidelines and reimbursement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process SNF billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Medicare/Medicaid payers.
• Utilize Matrix 360 software to support billing operations, claims management, account reconciliation, and documentation accuracy.
• Research, analyze, and resolve denied, delayed, or unpaid claims by collaborating with insurance carriers, patients, and internal departments.
• Maintain knowledge of coordination of benefits, prior authorizations, eligibility verification, and government payer regulations to ensure efficient revenue cycle operations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• Professional licensure or certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Matrix 360 software.

• Hourly wage range: $19.73 - $26.70.
