Overview
This fully remote role is available to candidates in almost any location. The position involves preparing, executing, and managing critical client billing functions for the organization’s Billing & Revenue Recognition Team.
A strong fit for this role includes high attention to detail, clear communication skills, and proven analytical and financial experience supporting accurate and reliable client billing.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate client setup in the organization’s portfolio accounting systems
- Manage and execute accurate, timely quarterly billing runs, including facilitating billing processes across major custodians
- Resolve billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests using sound judgment
- Prepare and distribute client billing with precision
- Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy across all billing and payments
- Collaborate across Billing, Finance, and Operations teams to drive meaningful process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred, including exposure to one or more of the following:
- Wealth management, RIA, or financial services
- Investment operations, billing, accounts receivable
- Portfolio accounting, reconciliation
- Related finance or operations environment
- Previous operations or finance experience, including billing, account opening, or reconciliation
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with portfolio accounting systems such as Orion or Addepar
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who demonstrates high personal integrity and ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in portfolio accounting and reconciliation workflows within investment operations
- Experience supporting quarterly billing processes across custodians
