Overview
This associate-level Bookkeeper role supports marketing-related operations, including public relations, campaigns, content, branding, creative delivery, client service, and performance reporting. The primary goal is maintaining accurate financial records through reconciliation and exception handling.
Work should be complete and traceable—showing what source was used, what changed, what remains open, and who owns the next action.
Responsibilities
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for bookkeeper-focused work across marketing operations (public relations, campaigns, content, branding, creative delivery, client service, and performance reporting).
- Protect confidential account information and ensure it remains traceable and properly handled.
- Review financial inputs against supporting records.
- Reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing.
- Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure they have clear ownership.
Role Requirements
- Use Marketing Operations confidently as it applies to bookkeeper-focused support for marketing operations including public relations, campaigns, content, branding, creative delivery, client service, and performance reporting.
- Maintain financial records without losing track of evidence, owners, or deadlines.
- Document spreadsheet analysis decisions clearly enough for another teammate to follow the reasoning.
- Use sound judgment around Audit Support, including when escalation is needed rather than assumption.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with marketing reporting and financial reporting
- Familiarity with invoice review and payment tracking
- Experience with variance analysis, account review, reconciliation, and exception resolution
- Strong data accuracy and record maintenance
- Experience with approval tracking and document review
- Audit support experience and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of spreadsheet analysis
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $43,000-$68,000 per year
