Overview

An established CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join their team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid or remote work, preferably within the Pacific or Mountain Time zones. The firm serves high-profile entertainers and high net worth individuals and families, providing a consistent work environment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review close outs, tax returns, and related documents.
  • Supervise engagement project management and ensure quality control standards in collaboration with the Tax Manager.
  • Manage client relationships by meeting deadlines and maintaining timely communication.
  • Develop and mentor engagement team members to prepare associates for advancement.
  • Identify key client issues and propose solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3 to 4+ years of experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Bachelor’s Degree with requisite accounting coursework.
  • Prior experience with high net worth (HNW) tax matters; CPA certification preferred.
  • Ability to manage changing work priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Responsive to client inquiries and requests, with the ability to escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Experience with corporate and individual taxation, including close-outs for loan-out corporations servicing the entertainment industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with Adobe Acrobat, CCH Prosystems, and Datafaction is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 plus bonuses.

  • Hybrid or remote work preferred within Pacific or Mountain Time zones.
