Overview

This role is for Certified Capital Strategy Analysts operating as independent contractors within a private capital ecosystem platform. Analysts support investors, fund managers, and operators by providing capital structuring and strategic finance analysis. The position offers immediate earning potential upon certification and verification, with work tied to live capital strategy and transaction planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

Depending on certification approvals, Capital Strategy Analysts may engage in:

  • Capital Strategy & Structuring:

    • Capital structure optimization
    • Equity vs. debt financing evaluation
    • Growth, recapitalization, and exit strategy analysis
    • Scenario-based capital planning
    • Investor return and dilution analysis
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation:

    • Building 3-statement financial models
    • DCF, LBO, and recapitalization modeling
    • Commercial real estate underwriting (where applicable)
    • Sensitivity and scenario analysis
    • Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
    • Football field valuation summaries
  • Strategic Due Diligence & Investment Support:

    • Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis support
    • Strategic and financial diligence
    • Risk assessment and capital downside analysis
    • Investment committee and capital strategy memo support

Analysts perform work only in categories for which they have explicit approval, earned through assessment and demonstrated performance.

Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the following to qualify:

  • Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
  • Completion of approved financial training
  • Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent

Analyst Levels & Compensation

Analyst levels are determined by an Analyst Rating Score (0–100), which affects visibility, approved work categories, and pay rates.

  • Senior Capital Strategy Analyst

    • Rating Score: 90–100
    • Pay: $150–200/hour
    • Typical background: 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, capital advisory, or senior consulting
  • Lead Capital Strategy Analyst

    • Rating Score: 80–89
    • Pay: $100–150/hour
    • Typical background: 3–5 years in capital planning, transaction structuring, or advanced financial modeling
  • Capital Strategy Analyst / Associate

    • Rating Score: 60–79
    • Pay: $50–100/hour
    • Typical background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong financial analysis, modeling, and strategic thinking skills

Compensation & Deal Economics

  • Analysts are independent contractors, not employees.
  • Hourly rates depend on Analyst Rating Score and approval level.
  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum of $2,500 per transaction.
  • Payments are made only after successful deal completion and fee collection.
  • Approvals may be revoked for quality, performance, or compliance issues.

Compliance

Capital Strategy Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice
  • Solicit securities
  • Represent the platform in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and strategic finance support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.

This role operates remotely within the private capital ecosystem platform and involves independent contractor status.
