Overview
This is a fully remote position supporting commercial credit and credit administration activities for the financial services industry.
The Commercial Credit Analyst I prepares and analyzes financial data for commercial loan borrowers and related entities. This role supports accurate loan decisioning and helps ensure credit approvals are based on thorough financial assessments, contributing to overall credit risk management and loan portfolio quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statement spreads for commercial loan borrowers and guarantors
- Analyze personal cash flow using tax returns and financial statements
- Compile credit reports on current and potential customers
- Deliver analyses within department timelines with high accuracy
- Research and interpret financial data to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Monitor financial positions of existing accounts and notify loan officers of irregularities
- Collaborate with the Commercial Credit Analyst team to meet objectives
- Undertake special projects as assigned by team leadership
- Participate in community-related activities
- Ensure compliance with policies, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines
- Support colleagues through positive communication
- Engage in ongoing professional development and cross-training
- May require work outside normal business hours or travel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting recommended; or at least five years of relevant finance/accounting experience
- Proficiency with personal computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office applications
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range is anticipated between 43,468.00 and 69,437.00 USD
