Position: Commercial Planning Analyst
Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt
Location: Remote (Preferably Rochester or Buffalo, NY)

Reports To: Commercial Planning Manager
Position Objective
This role supports accurate, timely, and strategic end-to-end management of the commercial planning process. The analyst will identify, analyze, and develop growth opportunities through volume and investment optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual planning process for volume and investment.
- Assist in developing distribution strategy, setting goals, and tracking performance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize plans and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Manage the planning process to ensure all key decision milestones are met.
- Track, analyze, and report variances to commercial volume and investment plans.
- Develop insights into monthly forecasts with input from cross-functional teams.
- Generate planning learnings to optimize the planning process.
- Build strong consultative relationships with commercial leadership teams.
- Utilize commercial applications including VIP iDIG, VIP KARMA, FIFCOVision, IBM Cognos Analytics, and Circana Unify+.
- Perform additional ad hoc analyses and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in analysis, financial planning, and budgeting.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Effective communication skills to exchange information.
- Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Attention to accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.
- Ability to perform light work, including moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $87,600 – $131,400 per year (excluding benefits and potential bonuses).
