Overview
A growing finance team is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis activities. This role involves ownership of the full three-statement financial model (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) and partnering closely with senior finance leadership on forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc analyses. The position requires strong independent ownership, accuracy, and proactive communication, with a hands-on approach to leveraging AI tools to automate and improve workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including forecast timelines and long-range financial planning
- Build and maintain integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow models for leadership use
- Analyze actual results versus expectations and provide clear, data-driven variance commentary linked to business drivers
- Prepare and contribute to executive and board-level financial materials, ensuring data accuracy and clarity of insights
- Manage company-wide operating expense planning, including headcount forecasting and spend management
- Develop financial models and reports to support key business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Perform ad hoc analyses, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and insights for finance leadership and business partners
- Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements across FP&A workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency
- Maintain strong quality control practices, including reconciliations and self-review before sharing deliverables
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance, with 1–2 years at the Manager level preferred or equivalent ownership in a lean, cross-functional finance environment
- Advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including balance sheet and cash flow mechanics and the interconnection of the three financial statements
- High proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience creating executive- and board-level presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides
- Experience with financial planning systems such as NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, Oracle Hyperion, or similar tools
- Ability to present financial insights clearly to executive leadership and board-level audiences, connecting numbers to business context
- Strong independent ownership and problem-solving skills, able to define approaches and deliver clear answers without daily direction
- High standards for accuracy and quality control, with consistent habits of building checks into models and presentations and reconciling outputs
- Proactive work management, keeping stakeholders informed, surfacing risks early, and delivering on commitments without follow-up
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in finance workflows to automate reporting, accelerate analysis, or improve modeling
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing, and ambiguous environment with shifting priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Genuine enthusiasm for actively using AI in day-to-day work

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range for US-based candidates: $142,677 to $171,229
- Salary range for Canada-based candidates: $141,700 to $177,100
- Starting salary based on location, experience, and qualifications, with performance- and role-based increases
