Overview

This role supports the organization’s financial planning and analysis at a high level, partnering directly with the CFO and executive team. You will own analytical work that informs key decisions and challenge assumptions behind core forecasting and modeling.

The organization is transitioning from pure subscription pricing to consumption-based pricing for AI features, increasing the complexity of financial modeling. Work will focus on consolidating and improving forecasting, scenario analysis, and reporting as the business model evolves.

Responsibilities

  • Own the consolidated financial model and P&L narrative, continually challenging assumptions and identifying gaps between embedded assumptions and what the data indicates.
  • Drive ARR forecasting and revenue analytics in close partnership with GTM Strategy, including analysis at the cohort, segment, and product level.
  • Build and own the financial framework for modeling hybrid revenue: subscription ARR alongside usage-based and credit-based revenue streams.
  • Lead scenario modeling and strategic analysis that informs executive-level resource allocation decisions.
  • Co-lead the monthly close review, quarterly forecast cycle, and annual planning process, bringing a point of view to each.
  • Improve forecast accuracy over time by identifying where and why the model misses, developing better leading indicators, and systematically closing the gap.
  • Support CFO-level reporting and management presentations, including monthly financial reviews and QBR materials, focusing on telling the story behind the numbers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, equity research, or high-growth company FP&A, with a track record of owning complex financial analysis end-to-end.
  • Strong command of enterprise SaaS metrics including ARR, NDR, CAC payback, LTV/CAC, cohort retention, and gross margin by product line.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models that others can audit, stress-test, and trust.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan) and ERP/CRM systems, comfortable working across systems and understanding their limitations.
  • Prior exposure to high-growth or pre-IPO environments where the playbook isn’t written and work requires building from first principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience modeling consumption or usage-based revenue, including understanding utilization curves, credit burn rates, and variable COGS interacting with a subscription base.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The annual salary hiring range for this position is $138,000 - $210,000 USD.
  • Compensation may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits in addition to base compensation. Incentives and total compensation vary based on factors including skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location.

Benefits include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Wellbeing Fund (flexible wellness stipend)
  • Mental health benefits with covered therapy and coaching
  • 401(k) program
  • Education & learning stipend
  • Flexible vacation time
  • Paid parental leave
  • Company-wide recharge days each quarter
  • Work from home stipend
