Costpoint Accountant / Payroll Specialist
Overview
Fully remote role supporting an organization in the data security and risk management sector.
This position is responsible for payroll processing, general ledger accounting, and monthly financial close activities to help maintain accurate financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing, reconciliation, and related issue resolution
- Perform general ledger accounting and journal entries using Deltek Costpoint
- Lead month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Reconcile subledger to general ledger and research discrepancies
- Ensure accounting adherence to GAAP, FAR, CAS, and government contracting standards
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and other business teams
- Document, improve, and automate financial processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting
- Direct payroll processing experience
- Proficient in general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Knowledgeable in GAAP, FAR, and CAS standards
- Strong problem-solving skills for discrepancies and process improvements
- Comfortable creating and documenting structured workflows
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000 annually, determined by candidate qualifications and other relevant factors
