Overview

This role supports Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health. Candidates should be aware this role will not remain within CVS Health following the transaction. The individual hired into this role will be employed by Omnicare.

As Director – Omnicare Financial Planning and Analysis, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis functions by managing a team of financial analysts, coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, guiding financial strategy, and partnering with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Oversee the annual budgeting process for OCR, working closely with department heads and senior leadership to establish financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
Design financial planning and forecasting processes for OCR by collaborating with finance and operational teams to gather inputs, analyze historical data, and assess market trends for accurate financial projections.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to measure business performance and track progress against strategic goals.
Communicate with the executive team in executing strategic initiatives, including market expansion, new product/service launches, and acquisitions.
Create accurate financial projections, assess trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
Communicate financial insights, trends, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, management, and other business units.
Develop OCR processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency, accuracy, and value creation.
Guide management for individual performance evaluations aimed at providing critical feedback for skill development and depth of work area experience.
Manage operational aspects of the team, implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business goals.

Requirements

7+ years of work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
Experience managing the end-to-end budget process.
Experience with forecasting and forecasting updates.
Experience identifying business opportunities through planning and analysis to drive enhanced profitability.
Experience tracking and driving accountability over large projects tracked by the FP&A team.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare or Long term care experience.
Experience working for PE owned companies.
Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC).

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred / specialized training / relevant professional qualification.

Compensation & Benefits

Typical pay range: $100,000.00 - $231,540.00
The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
