Overview
This opportunity is for energy industry professionals to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. The role involves leveraging hands-on experience with utility metering, customer operations, and energy billing systems to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that improves AI understanding of utility workflows and customer data management.
This is an ongoing, project-based position that can be undertaken alongside other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Use professional experience and practical knowledge of daily work tools to create expert-level training data.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in utility metering, customer operations, or related energy functions.
- Relevant roles include Meter Data Analyst, Customer Operations Analyst, Billing Analyst, Energy Accountant, or equivalent positions in the energy industry.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools:
- Oracle MDM
- Oracle CC&B
- SAP
- Power BI
- Strong written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and asynchronously.
Compensation & Work Details
- Fully remote position with a flexible, asynchronous schedule.
- No minimum hour requirement; typical participation ranges from 5 to 20 hours per week during active projects.
- Placement depends on current project needs, with opportunities for consideration in future projects as they arise.
