Overview

A growing SaaS organization is seeking a motivated and adaptable Financial Analyst to join their team. Responsibilities

  • Create and manage financial dashboards using Looker Studio and Big Query
  • Develop methods for calculating and reporting financial metrics across departments
  • Determine and evolve data source strategies to meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast performance, assess scenarios, and identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange
  • Assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Collaborate with Parent Accounting to ensure accuracy and proper coding aligned with SaaS business financials
  • Work with Product and Sales teams to develop pricing strategies
  • Analyze variances between forecast and actual results and provide quarterly explanations
  • Guide internal leadership and Parent Accounting in preparing annual forecasts
  • Review and provide guidance on invoicing procedures to ensure correct cost coding, allocations, and timely payments
  • Create financial tools and calculators as needed
  • Collaborate with UK accounting team to review and improve financial processes
  • Lead monthly financial meetings and metrics reviews, providing high-level analysis and insights
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct cost analyses to support senior management decision-making
  • Evaluate and improve internal accounting processes to align with organizational goals
  • Review contracts and vendors from a financial perspective to ensure optimal decisions and proper billing
  • Prepare financial presentations for Executive Leadership and present financial topics to leadership and broader teams
  • Identify improper accounting or documentation, research issues, and recommend policy or procedure improvements
  • Serve as a contact for external auditors and provide assistance as needed
  • Manage various company-wide projects

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WI
  • Ability to travel and attend in-person meetings, training, and business events up to 2–4 times per year, including locations in Madison, WI and St. Louis, MO
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • For remote positions, reliable high-speed internet, a dedicated professional workspace, and a functioning webcam are required; this role operates in a camera-on, video-first environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis, including:
    • Understanding financial data
    • Interpreting analytics and metrics
    • Building metric dashboards and pricing tools or calculation methods
    • Variance analysis
    • Budget-related work
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in Big Query and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Accounting or Finance within a SaaS company
  • Experience with Google Suite tools such as Looker Studio and Google Sheets
  • Data analytics experience
  • Experience with AI technologies

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $75,200 to $90,500 annually (actual pay depends on position, location, qualifications, market conditions, and business needs)
