Equity Research Expert, Part-Time AI Evaluation - Remote (United States)

Overview

• Compensation: $175–$300 per hour
• Work arrangement: 100% remote
• Schedule: Part-time, fully flexible (no fixed shifts)

This role involves helping train and test AI systems used for financial analysis by reviewing realistic equity research materials, evaluating whether model outputs are accurate and useful, writing clear research summaries and updates, and explaining where the analysis falls short.

Responsibilities

• Review research reports and supporting datasets to confirm accuracy and relevance
• Analyze earnings and update company estimates and financial models
• Assess peer benchmarks and valuation drivers
• Prepare short research notes and updates on market-moving events
• Provide clear, actionable feedback on the research produced by the model

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a sell-side Research Associate role with personal responsibility for company models and written research, or experience as a Research Analyst who publishes or leads coverage
• Experience covering several companies across multiple earnings cycles while keeping comprehensive financial models current
• Expertise in one or more areas such as:
  • earnings analysis
  • peer benchmarking
  • valuation
  • event-driven research
• Fluent English, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• Deep knowledge in at least one sector, including banking, insurance, or biotechnology
• No AI experience needed (the posting states that tools training will be provided)
