Overview
This role is for experienced tax preparers who want flexible schedules and the opportunity to use their tax knowledge and client service skills in a fast-paced environment. You will help clients by preparing tax returns and providing exceptional service while working closely with others.
This employer notes that many locations are operated by independent franchisees, and franchisees are separate employers responsible for employment decisions at their locations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns (as applicable)
- Provide exceptional client service
- Communicate and interact effectively with clients
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Use basic computer skills to support tax preparation tasks
- Participate in training and continuing education as required
Qualifications
- 1+ seasons of previous experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns
- Passion for providing extraordinary customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to learn
- Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of tax laws and tax preparation processes
- Prior participation in tax education and/or continuing education
