Overview
An experienced trader is needed to execute and refine trading strategies with autonomy while collaborating within a trading ecosystem. This is a remote role with locations available in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Miami, FL; and Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Execute trades in accordance with established trading strategies and risk management guidelines.
- Monitor market conditions, analyze data, and identify trading opportunities.
- Conduct research and analysis to develop and refine trading strategies.
- Use advanced trading tools and technology to execute trades efficiently.
- Monitor and manage trade positions, including risk exposure and portfolio performance.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic news, and industry developments that may impact trading strategies.
- Collaborate with other traders and teams to share insights and optimize trading performance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve trading strategies based on market conditions and performance analysis.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines relevant to trading activities.
- Maintain accurate records of trades, positions, and performance metrics.
- First loss capital.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of successful trading in one or more financial markets.
- Strong understanding of trading principles, market dynamics, and risk management strategies.
- Proficient in using trading platforms and tools to execute trades.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and make informed trading decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced trading environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and share insights.
- High level of self-motivation, discipline, and resilience.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and trading strategies.
