Overview
This role supports a foundational AI lab by helping train a language model on professional presentation and slide deck tasks.
The work focuses on creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated presentations and slide decks across core investment workflows, including:
- Investment pitch decks
- Position review one-pagers
- Portfolio review presentations
- Thesis memos with exhibits
- Quarterly LP letter materials
Responsibilities
- Produce and refine presentation and slide deck outputs for investment-related use cases
- Evaluate AI-generated draft materials and improve quality and clarity
- Create high-quality written materials that support investment research and communication
- Maintain strong attention to detail across slides, formatting, and accompanying exhibits
Requirements
- 3+ years in a research or investing seat at a hedge fund or asset manager
- Track record of pitching ideas via written memos and decks to a PM or investment committee
- Expert-level PowerPoint and slide craftsmanship
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- $100/hour
- Flexible commitment: 5–20 hours per week (or more if desired)
