Finance Analyst

Overview

A leading automotive company specializing in electric vehicles is establishing advanced battery manufacturing facilities to support the next generation of automotive technology. This role involves supporting accounting functions within this innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support all accounting-related activities including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
• Assist in developing accounting processes and recommend solutions to improve efficiency
• Contribute to the preparation and review of monthly financial statements
• Support monthly account reconciliations and reporting requirements, including ad hoc reports from S4 Hana Public Cloud
• Act as an accounting subject matter expert for cross-functional activities and provide guidance to Operations Finance
• Support all tax-related activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards with an internal control focus
• Proficiency in financial and accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex business processes
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
• Willingness to work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules
