Finance Consultant

Overview

This Finance role leads budgeting, financial reporting, monthly close, revenue and expense management, treasury functions, grants support, audit and compliance, and financial operations. The position partners with leadership, the Development team, auditors, and the Board to support accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and clear financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support grants management, financial forecasting, and budget administration as a liaison between Finance and Development.
• Manage grant budgets and compliance.
• Support multi-year financial models and forecasts.
• Coordinate financial operations across NDWA (501(c)(3)) and Care in Action (501(c)(4) and Super PAC).
• Maintain the organization’s in-house budgeting and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Budgeting experience.
• Strong Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Edge.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40–50/hr

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
