Finance System Analyst II

Overview

This role supports effective planning and reporting of financial information by automating processes and analyzing business problems in partnership with team members across Finance and the business. Responsibilities include monitoring finance data performance to identify improvements and areas requiring additional review.

Responsibilities

• Automate and support effective planning and reporting of financial information
• Analyze and solve business problems in collaboration with Finance and business teams
• Monitor finance data performance to identify improvements and opportunities for additional review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, or other related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on finance systems, preferably systems supporting planning, forecasting and reporting
• Strong experience with MS Office
• Expert understanding of finance systems; MS Dynamics Finance and Operations preferred
• Experience in an agile and dynamic project-focused environment, with strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of financial planning and reporting, technical configuration of financial planning systems, and developing related data visualizations
• Demonstrated success working with data and databases, and developing visualizations using a variety of tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, BI360)
• Demonstrated ability to quickly develop an advanced understanding of the business, planning processes, and business objectives
• Basic understanding of finance business operations and industry solutions
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, delivering information clearly and in a user-friendly manner
• Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting planning, forecasting and reporting through finance systems
• Experience with MS Dynamics Finance and Operations
