Overview

This role involves working as a Finance System Analyst IV responsible for the maintenance, administration, and support of Finance Systems and related ancillary systems. The position requires alignment with finance programs, goals, and initiatives, and involves enterprise-wide, cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, administer, and support Finance Systems and ancillary systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Finance business processes, system functionality, configuration, and capabilities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a reporting repository; support reporting and analytics requests.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance Workday Financials and related processes and reporting.
  • Research new functionalities, engage with Workday Community, and stay informed of best practices.
  • Create and maintain system documentation including user guides, process flows, and configuration documentation.
  • Assist with Workday training for end users as needed.
  • Participate in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, regression/patch testing, and reviewing/prototyping new functionality.
  • Support change management activities, including authoring user documentation and facilitating training sessions.
  • Gather and qualify business requirements; recommend solutions in collaboration with IT, Payroll, and HR teams.
  • Analyze existing workflows, document, and streamline processes.
  • Contribute to maintaining system data accuracy through data loads and audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • Six years of experience as a Workday Financial System Analyst or in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Financials.
  • Experience with reporting tools within Workday or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to AI applications.
  • CPA certification.
  • Hands-on experience working with GAAP and Statutory Accounting teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $98,100.00 - $166,800.00 nationally.
  • National Plus salary range (for higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska): $111,900.00 - $190,200.00.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily a sedentary role requiring the ability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
  • Requires keyboarding and clear communication in person and over the telephone.
