A leading dating application focused on fostering meaningful and genuine connections is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. Responsibilities

  • Manage company-wide business expense processes, including invoice processing in accounts payable software and ensuring alignment with forecasts and vendor contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate invoice processing and vendor onboarding
  • Monitor company metrics against vendor contract terms monthly to identify opportunities for contract upgrades, restructuring, or early renewals
  • Assist with monthly accounting close activities by working with departments and accounting to determine accruals and analyze variances between accruals and actuals
  • Review aged accruals regularly to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Support the capitalized labor month-end process by coordinating with engineering teams to identify, track, and report on capitalizable labor projects
  • Manage the monthly submission process for onboarding new projects into the reporting system and oversee the capitalized labor forecast
  • Contribute to monthly operating expense forecasting, variance analysis, metrics reporting, and departmental cost budgeting to support financial health

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or general business management
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting
  • Proficiency in advanced features of Excel, Google Sheets, and Slides
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical capabilities
  • Experience managing and analyzing complex financial and operational data
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Interest in incorporating AI and automation into financial processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in-house at a technology, consumer, or subscription-based company
  • Experience with Workday or Looker is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $97,000 to $117,000 per year, adjusted based on experience and location
