Overview
This role involves providing financial analysis, reporting, and decision support to designated departments. The Financial Analyst conducts financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support key business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver insights into financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports highlighting key trends and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiencies and revenue cycle outcomes.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans aligned with department goals and organizational objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and identify improvement areas.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Utilize financial systems and reporting tools to extract and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in special projects and financial initiatives, providing analytical support and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Provide ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support departmental decision-making.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis required.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion, and advanced Excel skills.
