Overview
This full-time, entry-level remote role (United States) supports the organization’s financial planning and analysis. The position focuses on organizing financial information into clear views of actual performance, expected results, and the factors driving differences between plans and outcomes. Accuracy and clear communication are important throughout the work.
Responsibilities
- Perform trend, sensitivity, and scenario analysis to show how changing assumptions may affect expected results.
- Reconcile information across schedules or reports and investigate material inconsistencies.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by organizing assumptions, updating schedules, and checking calculations.
- Compare actual financial results with budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, and explain meaningful variances.
- Document model logic, assumptions, and analytical methods so work remains understandable and reusable.
- Support KPI reporting by connecting financial measures with relevant operational context.
Financial models and schedules should remain understandable after the immediate task is complete. Clear labels, documented assumptions, reasonable checks, and organized formulas should help another person review the work and reduce the chance that a future update introduces an unnoticed error.

- Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to checking financial information.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet software for calculations and organized financial schedules.
- Comfort learning company-specific reporting definitions, schedules, and planning processes.
