Overview

A remote Financial Analyst role is available with a team supporting monthly financial reporting and month-end close activities. This position involves analyzing and consolidating complex financial data, identifying variance drivers, and translating insights into executive-ready narratives. The role emphasizes advanced Excel skills, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement through automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and consolidate large financial and revenue datasets to track performance metrics and support operational goals.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify underlying drivers behind budget and forecast deviations.
• Support monthly financial reporting and month-end close activities (workload typically peaks during the close cycle).
• Use FinHub systems and advanced financial models to support strategic revenue analysis and executive finance reporting.
• Extract, combine, and manipulate complex Excel datasets (including advanced data consolidation and modeling) to build clear, compelling stories for leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, revenue analysis, or corporate finance.
• 10+ years of advanced Excel skills, including expert-level data consolidation, complex datasets, lookups, modeling, and analysis.
• 10+ years of demonstrated strong collaboration skills in matrixed or cross-functional enterprise environments.
• Ability to learn quickly, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence decisions through data and narrative.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $62–67/hr W2 only
• Contract: 6 months (potential to extend up to 18 months)
