Financial Analyst

Overview

This entry-level Financial Analyst role supports recurring financial reporting and helps answer questions about revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and operating performance. The position is Remote – United States and is Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and other financial or operating measures to identify performance drivers.
• Build and maintain spreadsheet-based financial models for planning, comparison, and scenario analysis.
• Perform trend, sensitivity, and scenario analysis to show how changing assumptions may affect expected results.
• Communicate financial findings in concise business language, including risks, limitations, and areas requiring follow-up.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, management summaries, and ad hoc analyses for stakeholder review.
• Support KPI reporting by connecting financial measures with relevant operational context.

Requirements

• Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to checking financial information.
• Ability to manage assigned priorities independently while collaborating through digital tools in a remote environment.
• Ability to compare results, identify material variances, and explain the drivers behind a financial change.
• Interest in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forward-looking business planning.
• Clear written communication and the ability to summarize financial information for non-specialist stakeholders.
• Forecasting comfort: assumptions should be visible rather than hidden inside calculations, with the ability to present alternative scenarios.
• Remote work effectiveness: dependable communication and self-management, including organizing work, responding to reasonable update requests, and using shared digital tools to keep responsibilities visible and handoffs clear.
