Overview
A leading provider of financial management solutions is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role involves delivering strategic, data-driven insights to influence key business decisions and support the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality Corporate FP&A processes including monthly close reporting, forecasting, target setting, headcount planning, and earnings preparation for Board meetings.
- Provide insightful, data-driven analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks that support strategic business decisions and accelerate growth.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and implement innovative financial and operational processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders by providing financial guidance, strategic insights, and recommendations for driving organizational change.
- Prepare and present clear, compelling reports and presentations tailored for executive audiences, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Support organizational initiatives by contributing to performance improvement projects and process optimization efforts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal business dynamics to inform financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or related roles within dynamic financial environments such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or analytics.
- Strong foundation in financial theory with proven analytical and modeling skills.
- Experience deriving insights from complex data sets and effectively communicating findings to senior executives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Hyperion Essbase preferred.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent work experience required.
- MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience leading strategic initiatives or organizational change efforts is advantageous.
