Overview

This role supports a commerce network platform that enhances collaboration among brands, suppliers, and retailers to streamline e-commerce operations. The platform serves over 40,000 companies across hundreds of channels, managing more than $50 billion in annual gross merchandise value to optimize consumer shopping journeys.

The Financial Analyst position is responsible for analyzing financial data, reporting results, and collaborating across departments to support organizational performance, financial planning, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership on monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range financial planning and forecasting.
  • Support financial activities including headcount planning, reporting, cost control, and analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze expenditures across payroll, contractors, infrastructure, software, travel and entertainment, and other non-payroll costs.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and reports for leadership and executives, identifying key variance drivers.
  • Work with departments such as Accounting, Procurement, IT, and Marketing to ensure accurate and aligned financial data.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or accounting.
  • Prior experience operating within a SaaS environment is required.
  • Proficiency with Excel (including pivot tables and basic modeling) and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with financial systems like NetSuite or similar ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills with non-finance partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or an MBA.
  • Experience with Pigment and Salesforce.
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as chat-based assistants and reporting copilots.
  • Experience collaborating with c-suite level stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, month-end close, and general ledger responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $65,000 to $95,000 per year, varying by location, skills, and experience.
  • Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary bonus of 10% of the annual base salary.
