Overview

This role is for a Financial Analyst, FP&A, supporting the build-out of the FP&A function. The position will focus on planning, modeling, and financial analysis as the team scales, with emphasis on month-end variance analysis, reforecasting, and forecast assumption-setting.

Work arrangement: Remote

Location: Ohio, US

Compensation: $85,000 – $105,000

Responsibilities

  • Own month-end variance analysis for opex and operating results, comparing actuals to plan and explaining key drivers.
  • Independently build and maintain rolling forecasts across multiple time horizons (monthly, quarterly, annual), incorporating construction milestones, capex phasing, and evolving business drivers.
  • Partner with the Director of FP&A on financial models and templates, extending and maintaining them as the business evolves.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the company operating budget and forecast.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analyses to provide leadership clear visibility into financial performance.
  • Gather business inputs across the organization to support planning and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting, with demonstrated ownership of the forecasting process end to end.
  • Direct experience in data center, hyperscale infrastructure, colocation, or commercial real estate/construction finance environments is required.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills, with comfort working within an established model structure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FP&A or planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Insights, Anaplan, Planful) is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000 – $105,000
