Overview

A health and wellness platform is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Strategic Finance organization. This role supports consolidated planning and reporting, builds and maintains core financial models, contributes to executive- and Board-facing materials, and partners across FP&A teams to support forecasting cycles. The position reports to a leader on the FP&A team and offers opportunities for growth and increasing ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain components of the consolidated financial model for the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and monthly forecast cycles
  • Support forecast cycle mechanics including data intake, model updates, and variance analysis feeding consolidated outputs for senior leadership review
  • Contribute to executive-facing financial deliverables such as Weekly Business Reviews, monthly OpEx reviews, and quarterly Board and Audit Committee materials
  • Prepare clear variance analyses explaining actuals versus plan and forecast at consolidated and segment levels
  • Collaborate with category, marketing, and operations finance teams to gather, validate, and consolidate inputs into a coherent corporate view
  • Build financial models from scratch to solve business problems or answer questions
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning and reporting infrastructure using AI, automation, and systems to reduce manual effort and enhance analytical quality
  • Perform ad-hoc projects, financial analyses, and presentations for finance leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in analytical financial roles such as strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
  • Strong financial modeling skills, comfortable building multi-scenario P&Ls and models from scratch
  • Ability to manipulate large datasets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate analyses into clear, structured narratives
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in investment banking or at a high-growth company
  • Exposure to public company external reporting cycles (Board, Audit Committee, earnings/guidance)
  • Experience with online subscription businesses, acquisition marketing metrics, and lifetime value concepts
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI and automation to improve finance workflows
