Overview
This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst within the Card Fraud strategy team, supporting the Customer Service and Strategy Organization (CS&S) with a focus on the Fraud & Dispute Loss team. The position involves financial planning and analysis (FP&A) responsibilities including forecasting, reporting, and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Own budgeting and forecasting processes for designated areas, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Deliver detailed financial analyses to support business partners in achieving financial and operational objectives.
- Provide transparency on costs, key drivers, risks, and opportunities, communicating insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Manage ad-hoc requests and special projects independently.
- Prioritize workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
- Continuously develop FP&A skills and technical expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial impacts of initiatives and projects.
- Develop presentations for senior leadership to communicate insights and influence decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least two years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate complex financial insights clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
- More than three years of relevant experience in financial analysis and modeling.
