Overview

A well-established organization specializing in revenue cycle services is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join their team. The company focuses on collecting challenging payments from third-party payers, including complex denials, aged accounts receivables, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, Veterans Affairs, and out-of-state Medicaid. This role is critical in driving financial strategy and supporting rapid business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a financial business partner to key service line leaders, providing ongoing support related to forecasting, budget analysis, operational KPIs, and ROI on initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness, aiming to streamline reporting for strategic insights that drive business actions.
  • Develop executive-level presentation materials covering operations, revenue metrics, client analysis, financial impacts, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Support financial modeling and ad hoc analysis to inform business strategy and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and managing large data sets using Excel.
  • Ability to understand complex business drivers, produce high-quality analytics, and communicate results with actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial software, ERP systems, and data visualization/report management tools; knowledge of Vena is a plus but not required.
  • Strong passion for data and deriving insights.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • High curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of financial and/or operational analysis experience, preferably in healthcare or a high-growth private equity-backed company.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 annually (U.S. based).
  • Individual pay is determined by factors including skills, experience, education, training, certifications, market, location, and organizational considerations.
