Financial Analyst

Overview

This full-time, entry-level Financial Analyst role supports recurring financial reporting and analysis of revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and operating performance.

Location: Remote — United States

Compensation: $65,000–$73,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Review source information and validate calculations before financial analysis is distributed or relied upon.
• Document model logic, assumptions, and analytical methods so work remains understandable and reusable.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, management summaries, and ad hoc analyses for stakeholder review.
• Communicate financial findings in concise business language, including risks, limitations, and areas requiring follow-up.
• Reconcile information across schedules or reports and investigate material inconsistencies.
• Perform trend, sensitivity, and scenario analysis to show how changing assumptions may affect expected results.
• Support variance analysis by identifying operational or financial drivers behind plan vs. actual movements (when information allows) and help determine whether differences appear temporary, recurring, assumption-driven, or in need of further review.

Requirements

• Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to checking financial information.
• Comfort learning organization-specific reporting definitions, schedules, and planning processes.
• Organized documentation habits and appreciation for traceable financial analysis.
• Ability to manage assigned priorities independently while collaborating through digital tools in a remote environment.
• Preparedness to communicate progress when appropriate and collaborate through shared digital tools while maintaining professional standards for accuracy and documentation.
