Overview
This role involves supporting the financial operations of a facility management organization within the Finance Team. The Financial Analyst will manage key financial functions such as reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency. The position requires acting as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams by providing insightful analysis and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely record all monthly results, expenses, and accruals in financial systems while maintaining high standards of financial integrity
- Oversee and monitor operating expense budgets and financials, including work orders, costs, and key performance indicators
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making
- Serve as a financial liaison for clients, building collaborative relationships and responding to financial inquiries
- Coordinate communication with stakeholders regarding financial status and provide expert advice and support to Facilities Managers
- Assist in developing and implementing new client reporting tools and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to optimize financial performance
Requirements
- 1-3 years of finance experience in a similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and analytical reports
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
