Overview
A global technology company specializing in financial and business management solutions is seeking a Staff Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is critical in shaping the organization's financial strategy through detailed planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The Staff Financial Analyst will provide strategic, data-driven insights to support key business decisions and work closely with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Execute world-class Corporate FP&A processes including monthly close reporting, forecasting, target setting, headcount planning, guidance development, and preparation of materials for the Board of Directors.
- Deliver comprehensive, data-driven analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that accelerate business growth and improve financial outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and implement new financial and operational processes aligned with company goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior business leaders by providing financial leadership, influencing change, and driving organizational performance improvements.
- Prepare and present clear, insightful reports and presentations to senior executives, including the CEO, CFO, and Board members, to facilitate informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or related financial roles, preferably in dynamic environments such as corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
- Strong foundation in financial theory, data analysis, financial modeling, and storytelling.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for executive audiences.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively influence decision-making.
- Experience leading strategic initiatives or organizational change projects is highly desirable.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and excel independently.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and analytical problem solving.
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase is a plus.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent work experience required.
- MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range of $150,000 to $203,000, depending on experience and expertise.
