Overview
A leading provider of high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions specializing in GPU-accelerated computing is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. This role supports strategic initiatives by delivering detailed financial insights into the serverless product suite. The position involves building and maintaining complex forecasting models, developing cost-to-serve frameworks, and supporting deal evaluation processes. The analyst will collaborate with product management, sales, engineering, and leadership teams to translate infrastructure economics into actionable financial insights. The role also leverages AI tools to automate routine workflows, enhancing efficiency and enabling high-quality, judgment-driven analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own the rolling forecast for serverless inference revenue, third-party hosting spend, and SaaS product P&Ls, including variance analysis and monthly reporting to finance leadership
- Build and maintain GPU utilization-to-margin models providing real-time breakeven signals across hardware configurations and workloads
- Develop customer-level cost-to-serve models mapping infrastructure spend to revenue and identifying margin risks at renewal points
- Support the deal desk with rapid margin modeling for new hosting and inference contracts, including sensitivity analysis on key commercial variables
- Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to automate data assembly, variance narrative drafting, and forecast refresh cycles
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure financial models accurately reflect operational realities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, or a similar quantitative finance role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including dynamic modeling, scenario analysis, and variance analysis
- Experience developing cost-to-serve or unit economics models from first principles
- Ability to translate cloud billing data into financial P&L line items
- Proven track record of presenting complex financial analysis to senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
