Overview

This Financial Analyst role supports vacation planning workflows across cruises, honeymoons, groups, all-inclusive stays, and theme-park travel. Work is financial-focused and analysis-led, with the goal of maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliations, and handling exceptions. Completed work should clearly reflect:

  • What source was used
  • What changed
  • What remains open
  • Who owns the next action

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial reconciliation by helping the team reconcile discrepancies before reporting or processing, ensuring traceability within the vacation planning workflow.
  • Track unresolved financial exceptions and ensure each exception remains traceable and assigned to an appropriate owner.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation so another teammate can verify the state of the work without reconstructing its history.
  • Protect confidential account information.
  • Review financial inputs against supporting records, ensuring the work can be validated against the underlying evidence.

Success Standard

Success means financial records, reconciliations, and exception handling remain usable under the demands of vacation planning across cruises, honeymoons, groups, all-inclusive stays, and theme-park travel. Repeated errors should become visible, exceptions should have owners, and another authorized teammate should be able to verify the work’s current state from the documentation.

Working Strengths

  • Use confidentiality appropriately when supporting financial-focused, analysis-led activities.
  • Apply variance analysis while maintaining evidence, owners, and deadlines within the workflow.
  • Document workflow decisions clearly so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
  • Use sound judgment around reconciliation, escalating when needed rather than assuming outcomes.
