Overview

This role requires the candidate to be a W2 employee and US citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform forecasting and reporting decisions.
  • Provide comprehensive financial support including program performance analysis, quarterly forecasting, and profit and loss variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Repairs, and Product Line teams to drive the monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and deliver financial reports tailored to management needs for forecasting, trending, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare journal entries, calculate accruals, and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly Statements of Account to customers and support credit and collection activities.
  • Conduct quarterly maintenance of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and provide daily support on credit collection processes, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal teams to resolve credit-related issues and optimize cash flow.
  • Develop and distribute standard reporting related to credit collections and accounts receivables.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas) and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis principles, and complex accounting systems.
  • Experience with OneStream, Blackline/ARMs, Hyperion HFM, and SAP is preferred.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly to diverse audiences.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a Fortune 500 company or within the Aerospace and Defense industry is strongly preferred.

  • Financial analysis, reporting, ad hoc reconciliation, variance analysis, audit, project controls, ledger management, journal entries, statement preparation, forecasting, budgeting.
  • Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and formulas.
  • Presentation skills using PowerPoint and data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, ThinkCell, and QlikView.
  • Familiarity with SQL and financial systems including SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, and Blackline.
