Overview

A Senior Financial Analyst position is available within a finance team focused on managing profit and loss (P&L), operational expenditures (Opex), capital expenditures (Capex), and IT cost management through reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. This role supports month-end close cycles and collaborates with management and business partners to govern financial systems, including BPC management, PowerBI reporting, and allocation methodology updates. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to manage financials that enable technology product and service delivery while optimizing resources. The role also involves simplifying, standardizing, and automating financial processes to improve operational efficiency and provide strategic insights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Opex and Capex budgets by partnering with operational leaders to oversee costs, perform variance analysis, and prepare budget reports.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual allocation processes within BPC and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate billing and allocations.
  • Drive standardization of financial reporting by developing templates, standards, and communication protocols with finance teams and shared services.
  • Lead automation initiatives by defining system requirements for tools such as BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and PowerBI; work with IT to implement enhancements and administer system processes during financial close cycles.
  • Provide consolidated reporting on technology financial results, explaining key drivers and variances to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to analyze trends, derive insights, and support efficient delivery of technology products and services.
  • Participate in process improvement projects to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase reporting accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in business, accounting, or finance.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant finance experience.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), advanced Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to manipulate large datasets.
  • Experience in Technology Finance, financial consolidations, reporting, and change management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Results-oriented with strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, investment banking, or corporate development and strategy.
