Overview

This role provides financial leadership and analysis for product categories within Products & Healthcare Services (P&HS). You will partner with cross-functional leadership across Finance, Marketing, Sales/Commercial, Accounting, and business unit leaders to guide performance management for the business.

The anticipated pay range for this role is as follows: $100-$130K yr. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product category financial forecasting cycle in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Operations, Corporate FP&A, and Accounting, including:
    • Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly forecast cycles
    • Annual budget process
    • Strategic Long-Range Plan process
    • CapEx and strategic investment prioritization, planning, and tracking
  • Prepare financial presentations with functional leaders, including monthly / quarterly business reviews, performance scorecards, initiatives trackers, and profitability models
  • Develop financial analyses and presentations for the Senior Management Team
  • Assess and communicate financial and operational performance trends (historical and forecasted), using appropriate metrics to identify risk/opportunity, propose actions/strategic initiatives, and quantify forecasted results and strategic implications
  • Monitor results and trends and recommend actions to help achieve key performance indicator commitments across revenue, cost of sales, expenses, profitability, working capital, and capital expenditures
  • Identify and quantify opportunities to improve financial performance and develop strategic financial analyses for Manufacturing, Sourcing, Distribution, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance leadership
  • Conduct financial and business-related analysis and research, including pricing models, scenario planning, financial and expense performance, rate of return, and performance optimization
  • Partner with Accounting to support an orderly financial close process and contribute to the accuracy of results reported in company financial statements
  • Standardize reporting across product categories, including gathering requirements from the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
  • Perform additional duties as directed

Requirements

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • 5-7 years of related experience, including a position of similar scope and impact
  • FP&A experience, including business partnership with senior executive leadership, highly preferred
  • Healthcare distribution and/or manufacturing experience is desirable

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Highly analytical and personable with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment and can act as a financial change agent
  • Strong corporate financial analysis skills, including knowledge of financial business plans, processes, and systems (Hyperion Planning, Essbase, SAP, and PowerBI experience preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and implement complex financial projects
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to plan and coordinate completion of tasks in a multi-deadline environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team leader

Preferred Qualifications

  • FP&A experience partnering with senior executive leadership
  • Healthcare distribution and/or manufacturing experience

Remote. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
