Overview
This role supports the Financial Analytics & Modeling team with financial analysis and modeling for a fast-growing energy services organization. You will assist with project finance, financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making while working with senior analysts and business leaders. Key work includes developing and maintaining financial models, evaluating project opportunities, supporting financing and commercial activities, and providing analytical insights to inform business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models supporting central utility, chilled water, renewable energy, and power infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in evaluating project economics, pricing strategies, capital structures, and financing alternatives.
- Maintain project-level financial models by updating assumptions, validating inputs, and ensuring model accuracy.
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses related to project capacity, costs, revenues, financing assumptions, and regulatory impacts.
- Support preparation of financial analyses, reports, and presentation materials for executive leadership and project teams.
- Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and external advisors, including legal counsel, tax professionals, accounting firms, lenders, and investors, to understand project financing and regulatory considerations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, development, and finance teams to collect data, validate assumptions, and support project execution.
- Perform financial analysis of project and business performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Assist in maintaining financial databases, model documentation, and analytical tools to support consistency and quality across projects.
- Interpret financial data and prepare analyses that support business planning and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor' Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field required
- Four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Two years of related experience is required
- Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed, Excel-based, financial models.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—specifically Microsoft Excel, VBA experience.
- Functional experience in corporate finance, project finance, investment banking, fixed income.
- Comfortable in an environment of high growth with changing priorities and competing demands for time.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: USD $66,760.00 - USD $89,185.00 /Yr.
