Overview
This role involves supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts within a technology-focused organization specializing in AI-powered contact center and communications solutions for mid-market businesses. The FP&A Analyst will report to the Senior Director of FP&A and act as a key finance partner to leadership, particularly focusing on Revenue operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to Revenue operations and other business leaders.
- Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to explain deviations from budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure budget inputs align with company strategy.
- Support month-end close activities by reviewing results, identifying unusual trends, and resolving issues.
- Track, analyze, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs), with an emphasis on SaaS metrics.
- Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of FP&A experience within a SaaS technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and business planning skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for executive stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach with experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a global setting.
- Proficiency with ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite) and revenue reporting systems (e.g., Rev.Io).
- Data-driven mindset; knowledge of SQL or similar querying languages is a plus.
- Multilingual skills, particularly Spanish or Portuguese, are strongly preferred.
